I've always struggled to believe I was smart enough, good enough, or worthy in every aspect of my life. Since high school (and throughout college), I've always thought I wasn't getting the recognition I deserved and was overlooked for so many awards and scholarships because I had nothing to give. For as long as I can remember, I struggled with personal relationships and didn't really understand what love was until I started loving myself. And for the past year I've struggled with unemployment (even though I'm being told I have a good resume and good experience) and it has put a strain on me financially and emotionally. So much so that it's a small part of why I found myself single. I still struggle at this very moment! BUT I have found some amazing people and outlets that have helped me to become better and see my worth. That's why I'm so excited to be starting on my Ph.D. in the fall and have decided to let others experience my journey, too. So, I will be starting a new IG/blog about my journey of through academia, employment, and adulting. I'm excited to have, in a way, found my voice and to be able to share it with others. Hopefully some of you will come along on this journey and learn a little bit, too! ​
